Do I need to enable the Web-Browsing permission?

No. The web-browsing permission is completely optional. It allows TabTabTab to open and read public web pages on your behalf when an agent determines outside information will help answer your request (for example, pulling numbers into a sheet). If you never enable it, all functionality besides web look-ups will work just fine.

Can TabTabTab send email or access my Drive outside of Sheets?

No. TabTabTab requests the drive.file scope. That means we canonly read or write the specific Google Sheets that you open through the extension (or that we create for you). We don't have permissions to send email, access Docs, or touch files you haven't explicitly selected.

How does the Pro plan relate to my Google account?

Your license is linked to the Google account you sign in with. If you upgrade to Pro, TabTabTab Pro features will be available only when you're logged in under that Google account.

"Grant access to this file" keeps appearing—what should I do?

Make sure you're signed into TabTabTab with the correct Google account. Click the extension icon and confirm the email address shown matches the account that owns the spreadsheet.

The sheet isn't listed in "Grant access to file". Why?

TabTabTab currently supports Google Sheets only. Excel (.xlsx) or CSV files won't appear. Also confirm you're logged into the right Google account in both Chrome and TabTabTab.

Which browsers are supported?

TabTabTab is officially supported on Google Chrome for macOS, Windows, and Linux. If you'd like to use another browser (Edge, Firefox, Safari, Brave, etc.), please email hello@tabtabtab.ai and let us know.

Can I use this on Excel?

No. TabTabTab is designed to work with Google Sheets. If you want to use this on Excel, please email us at hello@tabtabtab.ai and we'll help you out.

Can I use TabTabTab offline?

Not today. The extension needs an internet connection to communicate with our language-model backend and Google Sheets APIs.

What's the difference between the Free and Pro plans?

The Free plan includes limited daily usage of AI features. The Pro plan removes those limits, unlocks access to newer, more capable reasoning models, and gets priority processing during peak times.

Do you offer a student or non-profit discount?

Absolutely! Email hello@tabtabtab.ai from your school or non-profit domain and we'll give you 50 % off Pro.

Which languages does the AI understand?

TabTabTab works best in English but can read and write over 20 major languages. Accuracy may vary for less common languages.
