1. Service Description
TabTabTab is a productivity application available as a desktop app, web app, and browser extension that provides AI-powered assistance including:
- Cross-application copy and paste functionality with AI enhancement
- Google Sheets integration with Cursor-like experience for spreadsheet manipulation
- AI-powered text processing and analysis
- Workflow automation and productivity tools
2. Account Registration and Management
To use certain features of our service, you must create an account by:
- Providing accurate and complete information during registration
- Authorizing us to collect your email address through OAuth for authentication
- Maintaining the security and confidentiality of your account credentials
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
3. Acceptable Use Policy
You agree to use TabTabTab only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:
- Use the service for any illegal, harmful, or unauthorized purposes
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts
- Interfere with or disrupt the service or servers connected to the service
- Use the service to transmit malicious code, spam, or harmful content
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code
- Violate any applicable laws, regulations, or third-party rights
4. Google Sheets Integration
For our Google Sheets features, you acknowledge and agree that:
- We request the
drive.file OAuth scope to provide spreadsheet functionality - We can only access spreadsheets that you explicitly open through our application or that we create on your behalf
- We cannot see or access your existing spreadsheets unless you specifically open them with our application
- We only read from spreadsheets you've opened with us when you ask us to analyze or work with your data
- We only write to spreadsheets when you specifically request changes or updates
- You must comply with Google's Terms of Service when using this feature
- You retain full ownership and control of all your spreadsheet data
5. Data Privacy and Security
- We do not store, cache, or retain any of your spreadsheet content on our servers
- All data processing occurs in real-time during your active session
- We collect minimal usage analytics via PostHog for service improvement only
- We may temporarily fetch website content after you grant optional web-browsing permission and the agent determines that accessing a specific URL is necessary to fulfill your explicit request. This content is processed in-memory to assist your spreadsheet workflow and is never stored.
- We never access your data without your explicit action within our application
- Our data practices are detailed in our Privacy Policy, incorporated by reference
6. Intellectual Property Rights
TabTabTab and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by us and are protected by intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of your data and content, while granting us a limited license to process it as necessary to provide our services.
7. Service Availability and Modifications
- We strive to maintain service availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access
- We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time
- Service availability may be affected by third-party services like Google Sheets API
- We will provide reasonable notice of material changes when possible
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:
- Merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement
- Accuracy, reliability, or availability of the service
- That the service will be error-free or uninterrupted
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of the service.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the service, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any rights of another party.
11. Termination
Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access immediately for violations of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases, though provisions regarding liability and indemnification shall survive.
12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in courts of competent jurisdiction as determined by applicable law.
13. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via email or through the application. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

15. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
Regulatory Data Categories
For transparency and compliance with marketplace disclosure forms, the data we collect falls into three official categories:
- Personally Identifiable Information (PII): Your email address captured via OAuth for account creation and login.
- Authentication Information: OAuth tokens/credentials required to securely access your account. These are encrypted and never shared.
- User Activity: Aggregate usage analytics events (query start, stop, complete) collected with PostHog. No keystroke or mouse-movement logging occurs outside explicit user actions.
- Website Content: Textual content of web pages fetched via the optional web-browsing permission, processed transiently in-memory and discarded immediately after use.
We do not collect data classified as health, financial, personal communications, precise location, or web history. Website content is accessed only when you explicitly permit it and is never stored.
